Chamber sets 'Explore Palatine' day for Aug. 29

Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual "Explore Palatine" day next month.

The idea of the Aug. 29 initiative is to encourage area residents to explore - and in some cases discover - businesses all over Palatine.

"As we all work through the ongoing pandemic, local businesses need our support now, more than ever," Executive Director Steven Gaus said. "I invite all Palatine businesses and our chamber members to participate in this event and grow our strength in numbers."

Businesses can offer sales or provide entertainment as part of the day.
