ComEd trimming trees in Carol Stream

ComEd will inspect and trim or remove fast-growing and weak-wooded tree limbs between July 13 and July 27 in Carol Stream to prevent branches from coming into contact with power lines - a leading cause of outages.

The work will be along West Lies Road between Rose Avenue to the west and Kuhn Road to the east, and on Morton Road from West Lies to just south of Paddock Drive.

At locations where ComEd finds tree issues on private property, crews will contact the property owner with door cards or personal contact before performing any work.
