Des Plaines church to host drive-through meal

St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Des Plaines will host a drive-through community meal Friday night with food donated by Gail's Carriage Inn.

Forty bags of food are available first-come, first-served, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the church parking lot at 1095 E. Thacker St. Cars should enter the lot off Margret St.

Each bag will contain a sandwich, fruit, cookie, chips and beverage.
