NEW DELHI (AP) - In a July 1, 2020 story about India's ban on dozens of Chinese phone apps The Associated Press erroneously reported that TikTok users in India received a notice that their data was being transferred to an Irish subsidiary, citing a copy of the notice Indian users shared with The AP. The company says it sent Indian users a notice that the company was working to comply with the Indian government's directive.
