Lack of 'rudder' is at core of violence
Many of us are very fortunate to have been raised by a loving mother and father, to have siblings and a Christian family to come home to every day. Many inner city kids and now adults are not as fortunate. And I believe the lack of family life, not race, is at the heart the violence we have witnessed recently. Young men and women need the "rudder" of a dad - not the racial propaganda spewed out in the media.
And the help of a "dad's rudder" can come from many sources: a coach, an uncle, a neighbor, a brother, a pastor, a friend, a teacher, you name it. We all have benefited from that help.
The propaganda of modern "journalism" is no match for reasonable thought.
Prayers and thoughts go out to all hurt by the recent violence.
