Wheeling community development department busy with building, other permits

Wheeling's community development department has been busy issuing building and other permits. For the one-week period ending July 1, the department approved 19 building permits, eight engineering permits and one fire protection permit representing a total construction valuation of $122,747, according to a village report. The community development department also collected $2,106 in permit fees.
