This is how college repays city for street
Saw in the news that the President of North Central College has notified Naperville's Police Department they are no longer welcome to stage on college property for safety and other public demonstrations.
I recall that in the late '80s or 90s, Naperville ceded rights to a city street to North Central College so that their campus could flow more openly.
So much for gratitude to the city and its residents. I used to enjoy riding my bicycle down that street.
North Central College should demolish any structures built over the street property and return the rights to that space back to the city.
There must be a price to pay for any such liberal knee-jerk reaction to current news sentiment and public violence.
