Stop pretending

As a Republican, I am annoyed and alarmed by the mindset of our president regarding the pandemic and infection control. As we've seen recently, clustering without masks has been counterproductive to containing the virus. It seems our president and VP see complying with safeguards as a threat to victory in the next election. Thus, if we pretend the tide is turning regardless of the facts, the pandemic will ascend to outer space.
