Libertyville Sports Complex remains closed

The Libertyville Sports Complex and fitness center will remain closed as the state moves into Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois. State guidelines allow for a limited amount of indoor recreation and fitness activities with a significant number of restrictions and mandated precautions. However, as an open warehouse style, mixed-use indoor recreation facility that offers sports floor space primarily to outside groups, enforcing crowd separation, sanitizing requirements, mask usage, and social distancing will be difficult, village officials said.
