Lori Lighfoot and the Chicago police chief were "enraged" at the police officers who "lounged while looting raged." Hilarious! She was never "enraged" at all the looting, stealing and burning she allowed when police were told to step back and not engage.
You can't have it both ways, Lori. Police are supposed to bring law and order to restore peace and protect homeowners and business owners. We all saw it in Naperville too; violence and destruction even when they had warnings the day before. Violence is now sanctioned for some causes.
Still waiting for the Daily Herald and other papers for updates on the $64.8 million field hospital set up in Chicago.
