Mundelein mayor OKs booze sales

Mundelein bars and restaurants with liquor licenses now can sell mixed drinks and cocktails with to-go orders, thanks to an executive order from Mayor Steve Lentz, officials announced. The order is a response to the statewide economic restrictions triggered by the COVID-19 crisis. Sales may only accompany carryout and delivery food orders and shall include no more than two bottles of wine, two six-packs of beer. Cocktails must accompany a full carryout or delivery order.
