Kane County tax bills due

The first installment of Kane County property tax bills can be paid without penalty on or before July 1, Treasurer David Rickert said Thursday.

Residents can pay by mailing it to the treasurer's office, postmarked by July 1; placing it in the property tax drop box, which is available 24 hours a day behind Building A at the Government Center, 719 South Batavia Ave., Geneva; at a participating bank (list available at KaneCountyTresaurer.org); over the internet by E-check; or over the internet by credit/debit card (for which there is a fee).
