The township is dedicated to assisting its residents through financial assistance - to help them move forward. While the township building remains closed to the public at this time, emergency financial assistance and other services continue to be provided.

"The township has funding available that may be able to assist residents who are facing serious housing and utility disconnection issues," said Wheeling Township Supervisor Kathleen Penner.

"We are dedicated to offering support in many ways; residents who need help should call."

There are different types of emergency funding available for residents facing pending evictions, past-due mortgage payments or utility disconnections. Eligibility criteria varies depending on the program.
