Batavia Public Library begins curbside service June 10

The Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., is now taking the return of checked out materials and will begin the pickup of library holds through curbside pickup services on Wednesday, June 10.

Hours for material drop off and curbside pickup are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Items can be placed on hold through the library catalog, available at BataviaPublicLibrary.org, or by calling the library at (630) 879-1393. Once your items are available for pickup, library staff will call you to schedule a pickup time.

At your scheduled pickup time, park in the designated pickup area by the library's main entrance and call (630) 879-4772. Please have your library card number ready.

Staff is equipped with personal protective equipment and procedures to ensure services are contactless to safeguard the health of both customers and staff. Library staff will set bagged materials on a table for you to pick up, avoiding any direct contact. The bag is yours to keep.

All materials being returned to the library should be placed in the return bins at the front of the building.
