Elmhurst delays planned peace vigil

A peace vigil originally scheduled for Tuesday evening in Elmhurst has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. June 9, in hopes recent criminal behavior will have subsided, city officials said Tuesday.

The 30-minute event will begin and end in Wilder Park at 220 S. Cottage Hill at the site of the former Lizzadro Museum. Organizers have been working with city and park district staff.
