Lake County Board to debate emergency declaration again

The Lake County Board will meet remotely Friday to debate re-extending an emergency declaration relating to the COVID-19 crisis until June 28.

The declaration gives board Chairwoman Sandy Hart and some administrators power to make decisions concerning the pandemic without board votes. It first was issued in March.

The meeting is set for 8:30 a.m. and can be observed at lakecounty.tv, on Comcast Channel 18 or Channel 30 or on AT&T UVerse Channel 99.
