A sense of 'normal'

I have been a longtime subscriber and always read the Opinion page and enjoy the "Comics Plus" page (esp. Bridge/Crossword Puzzles/Horoscopes). During this coronavirus pandemic, normalcy is not. I am a senior citizen so going out often is not an option at this time.

My morning routine is making a cup of Keurig coffee, and reading the Daily Herald. I want to thank all of those people who are making may daily morning "routine" as normal as possible. The people at the Daily Herald, the paper deliverers - paper is there every morning - and I so appreciate your efforts.

I also want to thank the Post Office for their "daily delivery" - part of my normal. And, of course, the Flood Brothers garbage pickup every Wednesday - part of my weekly normal. The good neighbors for caring and cutting my grass. weekly normal - and making me feel part of their family - forever normal.

I miss my family and friends, but thanks to email and telephone, we stay connected. And this too shall pass. Thank you again to the Daily Herald and all involved in my "normal."
