Frustrated by infighting

With heartfelt compassion for all those who have lost someone to COVID-19 or those who are suffering with it, and to those who are experiencing economic disaster, both personal and business, you should know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of others, even those who have only experienced the downsides of "stay at home" to keep ourselves and others safe.

Given that, I need to vent my frustration with the infighting among us. It seems to me that we are blessed with a governor who is intelligent and has heart. It seems that he is driven to do his absolute best to keep us safe while getting us back to good economic health. This is not an easy balance. He has surrounded himself with exceptionally good people. He deserves an A-plus on communication, honesty and intent.

I respect the differences of opinion, but it seems to me that, at this moment, our best way forward would be in unity and support for our governor. Can we give true meaning to "we're all in this together, Illinois?" How about it? It seems the fastest way forward is to do it together, with one objective.

Thank you, Gov. Pritzker.
