Safer under 'house arrest'?
Gov. Pritzker has placed 12 million Illinois citizens under a form of house arrest. That is 100 times more than the Roosevelt administration put into concentration camps solely because they had Japanese ancestry.
What is it about Democrats in power that makes them treat the people as though we are slaves to their whims? The Republican Party was founded precisely because Democrats were ambivalent about slavery, and the South was a stronghold of the Democratic Party not to be alienated by even Democrat Stephen Douglas, U.S. senator from Illinois. The resulting Civil War was in one sense an armed conflict between the Republican and the Democratic Parties. (The Republicans won and freed the slaves. The Democrats griped that Lincoln was a dictator, exceeding his authority.)
Maybe I'm safer staying in the house after all, where I am safe from the increased number of drivers high on marijuana that he legalized, hurrying to lose their money at video gambling he wants to expand before his bracketed income tax stealth raid just takes it away from them.
