Save-A-Pet salutes its essential workers

Submitted by Save-A-Pet

COVID-19 has put the spotlight on many deserving essential workers - medical personnel, first responders, food supply chain workers, delivery people and so many more.

Now Save-A-Pet would like to shine the light on some often unrecognized essential workers: those in the animal care field.

The essential workers at Save-A-Pet have been working throughout the stay-at-home order to tirelessly care for the animals in the rescue and adoption facility. They come in every day to ensure that the dogs and cats receive the love, care and medical attention they need.

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, these essential workers have not wavered in their duty to the animals, who come from a variety of backgrounds and each with individual needs. Their needs are met by people who truly care for them.
