Batavia

• A resident of the 200 block of Houston Street reported that a door lock sustained $200 damage between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 3:24 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

• Allek R. O'Connor, 47, of the 1000 block of Shabbona Trail, was arrested and charged at 5:16 p.m. Thursday with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol after a crash on the 1000 block of Shabbona, according to police.

Kane County

• A resident of the 900 block of Austin Avenue near Aurora reported $325 damage caused by someone breaking her bedroom window about 5:10 a.m. Monday. No immediate arrests were made, according to a sheriff's report.

• Tools, truck loading ramps, a 5-foot pot belly stove and 400 Playboy magazines from 1979 to 2004 were reported stolen from a storage unit on the 9N500 block of Nesler Road near Elgin between December 2019 and 3 p.m. May 9, according to a sheriff's report. The loss was estimated at $4,150, according to the report.
