Proven vaccine needed

Testing, testing, testing.

This word has been the end-all for those anxious to end the pandemic and get people back to work. After all, isn't earning a paycheck more important than spreading the disease that make paychecks irrelevant?

Already, reports are in that positive indications are inconclusive and negatives may be erroneous. This points to erratic interpretation of the results or faulty equipment, in a rush, that didn't pass required quality control inspection once off the assembly line.

And then, once a person has been conclusively tested, finding that the individual has no symptom or trace of the coronavirus, who's to say that person won't get it the next day, celebrating, with newfound confidence, meeting with others, none with a mask, one who just sneezed and another who coughed?

Only a proven vaccine will put us back on the job.
