Kane County

• An antique, decorative iron wheel valued at $85 was reported stolen at 6:17 p.m. Monday from the front lawn of a house on the 49W900 block of Route 72 near Hampshire.

• A mailbox on the 44W300 block of I.C. Trail near Maple Park was hit by a vehicle between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. May 6, causing an estimated $100 damage,.

• An edger and backpack blower, a total estimated value of $1,100, were reported stolen at 1 p.m. Friday from a trailer parked on the 7N0-99 block of Whispering Trail near St. Charles.

• A resident of the 7N500 block of Stevens Road near St. Charles reported a case of identity theft at 1:10 p.m. Saturday after receiving a fraud text alert from his bank that a $32 gas purchase was made at a Campton Hills gas station while the resident was at home.

• Two leaf blowers with a total estimated value of $1,000 were stolen between 1:15 p.m. and 3:56 p.m. Thursday from the 37W500 block of Highpoint Court near St. Charles.
