Let's give Uncle Sam a helping hand

You and I can quite easily assist our federal government in getting stimulus money to those truly in need. To begin, upon receiving your stimulus check, ask yourself this question - do I really need this money? If you don't, please give it to some organization or individual who does. I believe a substantial amount of the people receiving these checks don't need this money because the federal government cannot get enough relevant information quickly enough to make this determination and hence are only using income amounts as reported on tax returns.

Your act of generosity should not only make you feel better, as donors often do, but more importantly get stimulus money into the hands of those who really can use it. In all likelihood the recipient will spend the money relatively soon. The multiplier effect will begin as the money will be re-spent over and over again by others who happen to be part of the ongoing chain of recipients.

I believe this relatively simple act will be an effective way to get stimulus money to those who truely need it and will use it.
