Zebra offers scholarships for health care tech ideas

LINCOLNSHIRE - Zebra Technologies is celebrating the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife by encouraging nurses and nursing students globally to share their ideas on how to use technology to provide the right patient care at the right time.

Nurses and nursing students are invited to submit their ideas on how technology can help solve some of today's biggest health care challenges. Submissions are encouraged in one of two formats - video (maximum two minutes) and written essay (maximum 500 words) - in which entrants describe a current health care need along with an idea of how technology can help improve it.

Five winning submissions will be selected based on innovative approach and applicability in today's health care environment. Each of the five winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used for certification, continuing education, college loans or nursing school. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, June 30, 2020, and the winners will be announced in August 2020.
