Two arrested, drugs seized from Aurora home

Aurora police said they arrested two men and seized illegal drugs Sunday night at a home on the city's near east side.

Investigators had received a tip about drugs being sold from a home on the 500 block of South Broadway and obtained a search warrant, according to an Aurora Police Department news release Monday.

Edwin Torres, 25, and Manuel Torres, 19, were arrested without incident, and investigators seized over 1,000 grams of cannabis, nearly 90 grams of cannabis wax, approximately 400 THC cartridges, illegal drugs and cash from inside the home, the news release said.

Both suspects have been charged with felony manufacture/delivery of cannabis and possession of cannabis.
