Batavia hosting virtual town meeting

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual town hall meeting this week to discuss how the community is tackling the coronavirus pandemic with a goal of "an even greater city emerging," officials said.

Scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, the event will begin with a presentation by City Administrator Laura Newman, followed by a question-and-answer session. Questions can be emailed to margaret@bataviachamber.org by Wednesday.

Register for the Zoom meeting at the Batavia Chamber of Commerce website, www.bataviachamber.org/events. Participants will be emailed the sign-in information a day before the presentation.
