3 Naperville restaurants allowing donations to charities with online orders

Three Naperville restaurants on Monday launched an effort to allow customers who place online food orders to raise money for five local nonprofit organizations.

The fundraiser, by CityGate Grille, Che Figata and Tap In Pub in the CityGate campus at Route 59 and I-88, in conjunction with the John P. Calamos Foundation, will benefit Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry, Naperville Education Foundation, Indian Prairie Educational Foundation, Career & Networking Center and Naperville's community television station, NCTV-17.

The Calamos Foundation has pledged donations between $10,000 and $25,000 to each of the five charities, and restaurant customers can make donations in $5 increments when placing carryout orders online.

To contribute, visit www.citygatecentre.com/carryout, place an order from CityGate Grille, Che Figata or Tap In Pub, then select any or all of the charitable organizations for a donation to be added to the total food and beverage order.
