Grains mostly higher, livestock lower.

\CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery gained 3 cents at $5.19 a bushel; May corn rose 5.20 cents at $3.1220 a bushel; July oats declined 22.60 cents at $3.9240 a bushel; while May soybeans was up 2.40 cents at 8.3660 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Jun. live cattle fell 2.07 cents at $.8695 pound; May feeder cattle was off 1.62 cents at $1.1748 a pound; May lean hogs lost 2.25 cents at .6560 a pound.
