Keep health-care foundation strong
Like all Americans, I agree, it is important to remember the health care workers who are in direct contact with patients every day. We also need to remember the foundation workers.
By that, I mean the men and women who work in the factories making the parts and products that are needed by the health care workers. Consider all forms of transportation moving the raw materials - the railroads, air transport, trucks, inland waterway barge operations, American ship lines with merchant marines aboard.
Without these dedicated groups going to work every day making the needed products and transporting the critical raw materials, no equipment would be available to make for the health care workers to use to defend us all in this war.
We cannot lose these groups, if we do, we will lose the foundation and the war. It is important that the state and local government make sure these vital groups, this foundation, have the proper "PPE."
Thank you to all working to eliminate this disease from the foundation to those in the front lines.
