A mayor's foresight

Hats off to Elgin Mayor David Kaptain's foresight to create an alternate care facility for COVID-19 patients. Thanks, too, for the Illinois Army National Guard to have completed the project on time. Will we need it? Hopefully no, but If we do, it is ready for any patients. Just saying: some people think outside the box and that is good. We can never spend enough money if it means saving lives.
