Lake County Board to debate emergency declaration

The Lake County Board will hold a special meeting Friday morning to debate whether to extend an emergency declaration for the region until May 30.

The declaration first was issued in March because of the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

The meeting is set for 9 a.m. and will be held remotely. People can observe the meeting at lakecounty.tv, on Comcast's channels 18 or 30 or AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
