Seminary hosts virtual ceremony

Mundelein Seminary will host a virtual May Crowning ceremony to be streamed live online at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 3. The ceremony will be led by Mundelein Seminary rector the Rev. John Kartje and feature readings and musical contributions from Mundelein seminarians who are obeying the state's coronavirus stay-at-home order and helping to serve at parishes across the country while completing their academic semester through distance learning. Visit www.usml.edu/maycrowning to receive a link to the video stream. The virtual event is held in lieu of the annual invitation to Mundelein Seminary, which is on the campus of the University of St. Mary of the Lake, the major seminary and graduate school of theology for Chicago Archdiocese priests.
