Kane County tax bills coming soon

Kane County property tax bills will be mailed May 1 with the first installment due on or before June 1 and the second due on or before Sept. 1, Treasurer David Rickert said.

For those adversely affected by the COVID-19 virus outbreak, late penalty fees for first installment payments made on or before July 1 will be waived, he said. Payment of the first installment after July 1 will result in all accrued penalties starting at 3%.

Beginning at 10 a.m. April 29, taxpayers may visit the website at KaneCountyTreasurer.org to view current tax information and print duplicate bills.
