One injured in crash near Hampshire

An automobile accident at an intersection west of Hampshire on Sunday night sent one person to the hospital.

Responders from the Hampshire and Burlington fire departments and the Kane County sheriff's police responded to an accident at around 6:50 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Route 72 and Walker Road.

Two vehicles were involved, a Honda Odyssey and a Toyota SUV, make unknown. One person was taken to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin. No information on their condition was available late Sunday.
