Weapons needed

Criminals will always have guns. Law-abiding citizens should not be penalized for having weapons to protect themselves, and that includes semi-automatic weapons.

Given how mainstream media and liberal influences continue to instigate/promote lawlessness or violence in our nation, this makes all the sense in the world for normal, law-abiding citizens.

Debates about homeowners having an AR-15 for defensive purposes are clearly supported when intruders entered a home in Glen St. Mary, Florida, during 2018. The intruders' group was made up of seven young men. The first intruder wore a mask and shouted, "Sheriff's office" from outside the mobile home before breaking down the front door in early morning hours and shooting a round.

Upon hearing the break-in, someone armed in the home with an AR-15 and another with a pistol confronted the criminals with open fire in self-defense. In the exchange, one of the intruders was killed while two others were wounded. All this talk about homeowners not having the right to possess an AR-15 is wrong. In this case, five criminals entered a home in the early morning hours. Given how gangs exist throughout our populace, having an AR-15 as a defensive weapon seems exceptionally prudent if things deteriorate.

Guns really aren't the issue in our society. Chicago has some of the nation's strictest gun laws, but with little effect, as murders have been rampant.

It's a spiritual issue. You must change the spiritual condition in our society to see positive change. Change the spirit, change the man. Return to Judeo-Christian values.
