President deserves support, not blame
Responding to Sandra Alexander's letter about Jeanne Ives' response concerning Trump and the virus: Ives is 100% correct. Trump's administration has done a terrific job. Let's see, China's president, Xi Jinping, lied to the world for six weeks, fired the brave doctor who wanted to alert everyone and continued to lie about the number of cases. Six weeks is a long time for the spread of a deadly disease.
All of the U.S. response was six weeks late. Do you understand that? There was a document from Chinese health officials in 2007 warning of this pandemic and who was in office 2007-2015? Not Trump. No one acted on this official missive about the possible pandemic with China's wet markets that spreads disease.
Why didn't those previous presidents have a pandemic protocol in place? People should stop the immature "blame game" and support the current administration instead of being derisive, negative and misinformed. Easy way for negative, bitter people to respond? Blame Trump's administration.
