Proof of healthcare need

The coronavirus pandemic has not only left tens of millions of Americans without jobs, it has left them and their families without health insurance, ironically at a time when such coverage is even more important than usual. If this isn't an argument for a universal national insurance program that is independent of employment, I don't know what is.
