Lake County group to talk pay freezes

The Lake County Board's financial and administrative committee will meet remotely Thursday morning to discuss freezing the salaries of board members and elected countywide officials up for election this year.

By law, their salaries must be set six months before taking office. Concerns about the financial impact of the coronavirus epidemic triggered the conversation.
