Misguided funding

$25 million for the Kennedy Center in the CARES Act coronavirus bill. Sens. Durbin and Duckworth voted for it. No regrets. Government waste? Absolutely.

Then, Kennedy Center boss Deborah Rutter (former h1ead of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) stopped paying National Symphony members and told them their health insurance would lapse in May.

How many Americans are dying from coronavirus?

The Kennedy Center should be ordered to put up a permanent board in their lobby listing all the names of the coronavirus dead as a testament to government waste during a crisis.
