No injuries in Naperville garage fire
No injuries were reported in an early morning garage fire in Naperville today.
Naperville fire officials were called to the 800 block of North School Street at 4:23 a.m. when residents of the single-family home near the city's historic district reported the fire in the attached garage.
Firefighters did not see fire or smoke upon arrival, but could see the fire inside the garage once they were on the ground.
After entering the garage, the fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes. No damage estimates were available.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The residents of the home were allowed back inside after the house was inspected, fire officials said.
