Meet in the middle

Dear Gov. Pritzker:

Leadership: Thank you for your leadership as Illinois and our nation battle the unseen enemy of the state. Your tireless warnings of the threat and advocacy for Illinoisans will save lives.

Leadership: Please put your full support behind the Fair Maps Amendment. Your leadership on this important issue will show the people of Illinois and the country that you value democracy over party politics. Our state needs this, and our country needs this. I need this. I am losing faith in our American political system. Please make a difference for me and my fellow Americans.

P.S. I will support the Fair Tax Amendment if you support the Fair Maps Amendment, even though I am opposed to it, since I do not think it will resolve any of the structural fiscal problems facing the state. But democracy is about compromise. So, let's meet on the middle with this one.
