Free telehealth service for COVID-19, other health issues
A new telehealth helpline manned by volunteer physicians offers free medical advice for non-urgent concerns without having to visit clinics or a doctor's office during the COVID-19 lockdown. The service was launched by the Pakistani-Descent Physicians Society, the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Relief and Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago. Trained physicians and nurses will answer questions from patients and give advice on issues related to COVID-19. Calls will be answered from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 3 p.m. on weekends. Call (630) 444-7411.
