Offering Online Library Programs While Building Remains Closed
While the building remains closed at least through the end of April, the staff at the Bartlett Public Library District are getting creative with program offerings via online platforms.
Here is a current schedule of online programs:
-Sundays at 2:00 p.m.: Sing-Along Video (View these on the Library's Facebook page.)
-Mondays at 9:00 a.m.: Babies & Tots Storytime Video (View these on the Library's Facebook page.)
-Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.: Trivia (Head to Facebook on these days about 15 minutes before 7:00 p.m. A link to sign up will appear then. Space is limited.)
-Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.: Storytime Video (View these on the Library's Facebook page.)
-Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.: Chess Tournaments (Go to this link to register [If typing, must be typed exactly as shown here]: http://bit.ly/BPLDChess)
-Rather than meeting online at a specific time, the Library's BookLite book talk is meeting virtually through a Facebook group. Members can discuss books together via this platform while it is not possible to meet together in person.
-Librarians also continue to work on readers' advisory by giving reading recommendations and tech training through social media platforms and the Library's email.
If there are any suggestions or questions, reach out to askus@bartlettlibrary.org or the Library's social media platforms.
