Music helps boost spirits at Palatine seniors complex
Music is playing a role in trying to keep up the spirits of residents at The Grand at Twin Lakes in Palatine during the COVID-19 pandemic. Melissa Cosentino, executive director of the 118-apartment senior complex near Route 53 and Northwest Highway, has been frequently picking up her guitar and playing popular tunes for the residents while walking down hallways. Other employees have been going through the corridors playing upbeat music for the residents, according to The Grand.
