Instant Friends 6' Away

My 6 year old daughter, Sirena wanted to take a picture of the garbage man with her camera before our walk, and she did.

Then the man came out and said, "You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to take a picture of you taking a picture of me."

So I took a picture of their moment while still respecting each other's 6' of space.

During our walk, we ran into the man again.

He said, "I thought you looked familiar. I knew you from Laurel Street but didn't want to say anything. I used to pick up your garbage when you were a little girl. I've been doing this for 25 years and I know your dad and brother. Your brother lives right over there," as he pointed.

I asked for his name and he said, "Dale," and he asked, "What's your daughter's name?" I said, "This is, Sirena." He then waved and said, "Bye, Sirena," as he honked away.

This made our day.
