Brookdale Glen Ellyn brings a little cheer to mealtime

With the current shelter-in-place order by Gov. Pritzker, Brookdale Glen Ellyn has come up with creative ways to serve the residents in the independent living and assisted living communities.

Brookdale Glen Ellyn staff put big photos of the servers and cook staff at the front of the food trolleys, making it into mini-food trucks, to deliver the meals to residents' rooms instead of dining areas. Staff travel around the senior community deliver breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as snacks.

Last Friday, they also made a little Tiki bar mobile happy hour cart.
