We can't trust president

If what I am reading is true, the president is seriously considering opening businesses within the next 15 days in spite of warnings from health experts that in the middle of this pandemic, it would be a tragic mistake, endangering the lives of literally tens of thousands of people. He has assured in the past few months that this virus is of no concern, that it would by some miracle, simply go away, and that it was contained, that the people in the medical field were getting all the supplies they needed, and finally, that he knew all along that this was a pandemic, but chose to hide it from the American public. Are we truly going to believe a man who continually lies, is ill informed, and cares only for his reelection to decide the fate of this country during this trying time in our history?
