Silver lining: Springtime

Over the next couple weeks, if you see someone not taking precautions to stop the spread of the virus, here's something to keep in mind - it's spring. Yes, it's spring. That is one silver lining to the coming month of quarantine and isolation. It's spring. For the next six weeks or so when you're trapped inside your tiny, cramped and overcrowded home with your "loved ones."

Remember that it's spring. Because after two months of being in close confinement with your "loved ones," it's nice to go for a walk, get some fresh air, and socially distance yourself from the "loved ones." Because even though being stuck for 90 days with your "loved ones" will be trying, a warm summer breeze will be a welcome respite from stress. And thankfully come July, August or maybe even mid-fall, this will all be over.

So when you see someone not taking care to halt the spread of the virus, please remind them politely that we don't want to do this again starting in November.
