Seriously, Mayor Johnson, Utopia?

I can say that 35 years ago when we moved to Elk Grove and under the leadership of Charles Zettek, it really was Utopia.

But your ego and power struggle changed all that. You and the board of trustees took away my right and privilege to vote. Isn't that surely Chicago politics in action? What exactly were you afraid of - the power of the people?

But you were clever enough to get three new Referendums on the Nov. 3 ballot, locking out another chance to voice our opportunity to vote for Tim Burns and Term limits. Hooray for you!
